CAIRO – The cabinet media center denied reports about launching mobile phone applications for granting financial loans to citizens.
In a statement on Sunday, the center said it communicated the Ministry of Communications and IT which dismissed the news as baseless.
The ministry underlined that any application used for the purpose is fake and legal measures will be taken against theses applications.
The center urged social media to verify the authenticity of the news circulated to avoid perplexing public opinion. (MENA)
