During the activities of Expo Dubai 2020, EgyptAir celebrated its 90th anniversary, in light of the participation of the Ministry of Civil Aviation in Expo Dubai 2020, and under the slogan of the Egyptian pavilion at the exhibition “Nationality that enhances the future.”
Amr Aboul-Enein, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EgyptAir, said, “The occasion of the 90th anniversary of the establishment of EgyptAir, which was established on May 7, 1932, is the culmination of the efforts of generations of workers who contributed to the advancement of this company.

“Proceeding from this honourable history, our ambitions for the advancement of the national company will not stop at this point, but we will make every effort to maintain the distinguished and global position that EgyptAir has reached, which befits the name of Egypt and its position among the various countries of the world.”
Abul-Enein added that due to the importance of Expo Dubai 2020, EgyptAir was keen to be present in it and celebrate with visitors to the pavilion on this occasion, noting that the national air carrier aims for the participation of the company’s customers from all over the world on all happy occasions.

The visitors of the Egyptian pavilion were also keen to take pictures with the mock-up of the EgyptAir plane, which witnessed a great and remarkable turnout from the visitors who expressed their happiness with this beautiful gesture, which indicates the company’s interest in permanent communication with customers around the world and its keenness to enhance the spirit of belonging and loyalty to their national company.

A historical movie was also shown about EgyptAir and its various activities provided by its subsidiaries, in addition to an interactive screen showing the latest EgyptAir offers, promotional and marketing prices for a number of tourist destinations in Egypt, and tourism programmes suitable for all categories, as well as the latest developments of the company.
EgyptAir is the national airline of Egypt, the first airline to be established in Africa and the Middle East, and the seventh in the world.

Its fleet currently in actual operation consists of 69 aircraft of the latest models, and its flights depart to more than 70 direct points around the world and reaches its customers to 1,300 points in 193 countries through its membership in the global Star Alliance network.
