Egypt’s Parl’t speaker’s visit to Kuwait supports Arab joint action

Egypt’s Ambassador to Kuwait Osama Shaltout described the visit by Speaker of the House of Deputies Hanafi el-Gebali and his parliamentary delegation to Kuwait as “positive”.

It also contributed to supporting joint Arab action at the parliamentary and political levels, he added.

In exclusive statements to MENA correspondent in Kuwait Tuesday, Shaltout said that the visit falls within the framework of fruitful co-operation and coordination between the Egyptian and Kuwaiti parliaments on the various issues of mutual interest at the regional and international arenas.

The Kuwaiti National Assembly supports the Arab joint action and has the necessary parliamentary experience, which set it as an example to be followed in this sphere, added the ambassador.

There is continued coordination and cooperation between the Kuwaiti and Egyptian sides to attain democracy and meet the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples, he added.

Gebali ended today a five-day visit to Kuwait.
