CAIRO – Egyptian State Minister for Military Production Mohamed Ahmed Morsi asserted Monday that his ministry seeks to use manufacturing, technological and human potentials in carrying out giant national projects.
Such projects will mainly contribute to improving living conditions of citizens, with a special focus on presidential initiative “Decent Life” and other national initiatives, added Morsi.
Morsi was speaking while meeting with Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Assem el-Gazar Monday.
The meeting tackled modern technologies used in wastewater treatment and fresh water.
Morsi said the ministry seeks to transfer and strengthen the most advanced technologies in companies and units of the ministry.
The meeting comes in line with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives to integrate the strategy of water treatment with the State’s general policy aimed at achieving good water management.
This modern technology is important to treating drainage water and desalinating water, he further pointed out.
Gazar directed officials to develop mechanisms for using this modern technology as soon as possible, saying it is important to focus efforts on local manufacturing of such technologies.
