KAFR EL SHEIKH, Egypt – The Burullus fishing port was closed on Saturday for the third day in a row due to a spell of bad weather in Kafr El Sheikh governorate, said the Burullus Port authority.
Fishing was suspended over high waves and strong winds.
In a statement, Kafr el Sheikh Governor Gamal Noureddin gave directives to intensify necessary measures to face the impact of this adverse weather wave in the governorate.
He urged all fishermen to avoid fishing trips in such weather conditions, ordering all facilities in the governorate to be on alert.
