CAIRO — Egypt’s Ahmed El-Kady won silver in the sabre event at the Under-17 Fencing World Cup in Algeria.
Youth and Sports Minister Gohar Nabil congratulated El-Kady on his achievement and praised the Egyptian team’s overall performance.
Nabil said Egypt now has a group of fencers competing at the highest level, crediting their progress to organised work and continued state support for Olympic sports.
