President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi attended the launch of Egypt Forum 2026 in the New Capital on Monday under the slogan “A Look at Today, a Vision for Tomorrow.”
The forum aims to strengthen community dialogue, listen to citizens’ views and concerns about issues affecting their daily lives, and discuss work priorities for the coming period, MENA reported.
The event, which will run until Saturday, opened with the Egyptian national anthem, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.
The forum’s opening session featured a report titled “What Would You Tell the President If You Met Him?”
In the report, citizens shared their views on various issues related to state-building and new projects, including roads and bridges, the Universal Health Insurance System, and security and safety. They also raised a number of requests.
