Chairman of the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation Mohamed Saeed Mahrous and Chairman of the National Air Navigation Services Company Ihab Mohey met with officials of the Regional Office of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in the Jordanian capital of Amman.

The meeting discussed ways of joint co-operation in the fields of air safety, technical support and raising the technical level for workers in the field of navigation and air control in Egypt, according to the latest satellite applications.

The meeting also dealt with coordination in the field of direct air routes and their modification to achieve the highest efficiency at the economic level, save time and raise safety levels.

It was agreed during the meeting to hold a meeting in April to discuss ways to benefit from the advisory opinion of IATA, which is a commercial link that brings together international airlines and represents 83% of the total air traffic, which will benefit the development of the Egyptian airspace.
