Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly stressed that the government is keen to maximise the value of comprehensive development projects in New Alamein City and turn the area into a leading year-round investment, tourism and urban destination.
Prime Minister Madbouly said the government is moving ahead with plans to attract national and foreign investment, create thousands of jobs and make greater use of the unique potential of Egypt’s northwestern coast.
He made these remarks during a meeting with representatives of consulting groups and companies on Tuesday to review progress on a major project in New Alamein.
The meeting reviewed the project’s master plan and coordination between the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, the Armed Forces Engineering Authority and other relevant bodies to prepare for its implementation.
Consultants and executives of companies also presented architectural and engineering proposals featuring smart technologies and sustainable design standards.
The designs aim to reflect New Alamein’s modern urban identity. The meeting also covered infrastructure, landscaping and logistics requirements to ensure the project is implemented according to international standards and high-quality specifications.
