CAIRO – The Egyptian cabinet media center denied reports alleging that an official decision has been issued to reschedule Thanawya Amma (secondary school) exams for 2021/2022 academic year.
In a statement on Friday, the center said it contacted the Ministry of Education which dismissed the reports as baseless, asserting that Thanawya Amma exams will be held as per the previously set timetable starting on Saturday, June 11, 2022.
It added that all relevant details will be revealed in a press conference to be held in the coming few weeks.
The center called on various media outlets and social media users to verify the authenticity of news before publishing it.
