President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued several presidential decrees on Wednesday extending the term of Osama Mounir Mohamed Rabie as Chairman and Managing Director of the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) for one year, effective August 12, 2026.
As per the decrees, Ahmed Khaled Hassan Said was appointed Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the SCA for one year, also effective August 12, 2026.
Moustafa Farouk Ismail Sheikhou was appointed Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone), with the rank of Minister, for one year, effective August 12, 2026.
The decrees also named Mohamed Abdel Fattah Mohamed Abu Bakr as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation (AOI) for one year, effective August 12, 2026.
