Egyptian students who fled to Romania from the conflict in Ukraine can look forward to being flown home.

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Tuesday had an EgyptAir aircraft sent to Bucharest to evacuate the students, Cabinet Spokesman Ambassador Nader Saad said in statements in Tuesday.
The cabinet issued the order on receiving the presidential directives to coordinate with the Foreign Ministry, Egyptian embassies in countries neighbouring Ukraine, the Ministry of Emigration and Expatriate Affairs and the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

In a related development, Immigration Minister Nabila Makram said her ministry is in daily contact with Egyptian students in Ukraine.

The ministry has not recorded any deaths news of Egyptian students in Ukraine, Makram said.

However, an Egyptian citizen married to a Ukrainian woman, who has been shot

in back from helicopter in Ukraine conflict, is currently in intensive care in a stable condition, Makram added.

Nearly 1,200 Egyptian students have arrived in Poland and 250 others in Romania coming from Ukraine.

The Egyptian embassies in Warsaw and Bucharest sent their emergency contact numbers to Egyptian students in case of any emergency on the borders.
