The Egyptian and Turkish armed forces have begun the joint military exercise “Golden Eagle,” with participation from Egypt’s paratroopers and commandos alongside Turkish special forces. The training is taking place over several days at combat training fields under the command of Egypt’s paratroopers and commandos.
The opening phase included theoretical lectures on operational concepts to unify approaches and enhance integration among participants. An exhibition of weapons and equipment used in the exercise was also organized.
The program will feature practical activities and tactical drills designed to exchange expertise and maximize the benefit for both sides. The exercise is part of Egypt’s broader plan for joint training with allied and friendly nations, aimed at strengthening military cooperation across various fields.
