CAIRO – Egyptian Planning Minister Hala el-Saeed said Egypt is well aware of the inevitability of good management of water resources.
Egypt started implementing an ambitious agenda for full management of water resources to achieve the sixth aim of sustainable development goals.
This came during Saeed’s meeting, via video conference with Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Mohamed Abdel Aati to discuss the proposed investment plan of the Ministry of Irrigation in 2022/2023.
The Ministry of Planning is interested in providing all resources necessary for the Ministry of Irrigation and its developmental projects to support Egyptian agriculture and farmers in addition to investors in the sector of agriculture, Saeed said.
Meanwhile, Abdel Aati reviewed the most important accomplishments of his ministry in the investment plan of the current fiscal year.
