The visit was part of ministry efforts inform foreign envoys about development work in Egypt.

The visitors toured various parts of the new capital, including major construction sites.

The tour included a visit to Culture and Arts City, the Business District and an area where a number of high-rise buildings, among them African’s tallest structure, are being constructed.

The diplomats also visited the Government District, the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ and the Fatah al-Aleem Mosque.

Officials of the Administrative Capital for Urban Development, the company responsible for developing of the New Administrative Capital, explained to the visiting diplomats the general design of the new megacity, progress on its construction and details of the Embassy District.
