Egypt’s Agency of Partnership for Development (EAPD) has dispatched on Wednesday a shipment of humanitarian aid to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), reaffirming Egypt’s commitment to supporting African countries in times of crisis.
The aid, which includes medicines and food supplies, was received by Egypt’s Ambassador to the DRC, Hisham Mekwad, in Kinshasa.
The shipment is intended to support humanitarian efforts aimed at alleviating the impact of the deteriorating situation in eastern Congo and addressing the basic needs of affected communities.
The EAPD said it would continue working with partners to support humanitarian and development initiatives across Africa, stressing Egypt’s belief that partnership and solidarity are essential to achieving stability and sustainable development on the continent.
