CAIRO — Egypt’s national football team arrived in the United States after a flight lasting more than 12 hours to begin preparations for a friendly match against Brazil on June 6 as part of its build-up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The delegation is headed by Egypt Football Association Vice President Khaled El-Darandaly.
Egypt’s final 26-man squad includes goalkeepers Mohamed El Shenawy, Mostafa Shobeir, El Mahdy Soliman and Mohamed Alaa.
The defensive line-up features Mohamed Hany, Tarek Alaa, Hamdi Fathi, Rami Rabia, Yasser Ibrahim, Hossam Abdel Meguid, Mohamed Abdelmonem, Ahmed Fatouh and Karim Hafez.

Midfielders include Marwan Attia, Mohannad Lasheen, Nabil Emad Donga, Mahmoud Saber, Ahmed Sayed Zizo, Emam Ashour, Mostafa Abdel Raouf Ziko, Mahmoud Trezeguet, Ibrahim Adel, Haitham Hassan and Mohamed Salah.
The attacking options are Omar Marmoush and Hamza Abdel Karim. (MENA)
