Colonel Doctor Bahaa el-Ghannam, the Executive Director of the Future of Egypt Authority for Sustainable Development, has emphasised the authority’s pivotal role in bolstering the national economy by supporting struggling companies.
Speaking at the official opening of the New Delta developmental project in El Dabaa by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, Colonel Doctor el-Ghannam stated that, under presidential directives, the authority does not enforce arbitrary measures or procedures against distressed firms. He noted that this approach directly accommodates the severe economic pressures faced both regionally and globally following consecutive crises, including the COVID-19 pandemic and the Russia–Ukraine war.
