The conference, which runs for several days, includes six international scientific events aimed at boosting innovation and keeping up with research developments in modern applications. It is being held in a hybrid format, allowing scientific papers to be presented either in person or remotely via video conferencing. The objective is to strengthen integration between specialised research centres and enrich scientific research within the national system.

More than 500 scientific papers from 21 countries have been submitted across various engineering and technical disciplines, with participation from experts and scholars representing 55 foreign universities and 110 Egyptian universities and research centres.

The defence minister praised the outstanding performance of those responsible for developing the educational and research system at the college, commending their ability to utilise available capabilities to keep pace with the rapid scientific advancements across all disciplines.

He also stressed the importance of such conferences as a fertile environment for exchanging expertise and enabling researchers to connect with their counterparts in Egyptian and international universities and research institutions, thereby raising scientific and research standards in support of national development across all sectors.
