The International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) has issued a decision to assign Mohammed Rahma, one of Egypt’s civil aviation professionals, as the Regional Director of the Middle East Office ( MID) affiliated to ICAO, succeeding Emirati Mohammed Abu Bakr Al-Far.
This appointment reflects strong international confidence in Egyptian professionals in aviation sector.
Mohamed Rahma has a strong professional and academic background. He holds a Master’s degree in Aviation Management and is fluent in both Arabic and English. Prior to his new role, he served as Head of the Air Transport Bureau (ATB) at ICAO’s headquarters in Montreal.
