EgyptAir organised a ceremony to distribute the awards of the “Ramadan Challenge” competition, which was launched by the technical support department for Reservation and Sales Systems (Amadeus Helpdesk) under the Commercial Affairs Sector during the holy month of Ramadan, for the third consecutive year.

The ceremony was attended by a group of EgyptAir leaders and partners of success, including Amr Adway, Head of the Commercial Affairs Sector, Rabab Salem, Head of Alliances Sector, general managers, along with representatives from Amadeus and Samsung, including Mervat Elfy, General Manager of Amadeus Egypt, Ahmed Ali Jaafar, CEO of Marketing and E-Commercial Sectors at Samsung Egypt.
Amadeus is considered a key partner in supporting and organising the competition; it presented worthy awards for winners.

This year’s edition was special with the participation of Samsung, which added a new dimension to the competition by supporting individual contests alongside departmental and office competitions, reflecting the spirit of development and innovation within the Commercial Affairs Sector.
Adawy praised the idea of the competition and the distinguished level of participation, emphasising the keenness of the commercial affairs sector to enhance the initiatives that contribute to improving the employees’ skills, as well as boosting the positive competition spirit among them.

The ceremony included honouring the winners of the offices and departments competitions. The Technical Office of the Head of the Commercial Affairs Sector, headed by Ahmed Ramzy, won first place, followed by the Shubra Sales Office in second place, and the Mohandessin Sales Office in third place.
The individual competition winners were also honored, witnessing strong competition among participants, where Nehal Abu Zeid, Nardi Tebri, Mahmoud Abdel Aal, Mohamed Abdel Nabi, Ayat Yahya, Amina Shafik, Ramy Abdel Moneim, Mohamed Hussein, Nesma Abdel Naim, and Elodia Tebri were awarded in recognition of their excellence and achieving the highest number of correct answers during the competition period.

The ceremony also included honouring Noha Mohamed Omar, Director of the Technical Support Department for Reservation and Sales Systems, along with the department’s work team, in appreciation of their outstanding efforts in preparation and organisation, which contributed to the competition’s successful execution.
Representatives of Amadeus and Samsung expressed their happiness in participating in this initiative, praising the idea of the competition, the level of organisation, and the strong engagement of employees, confirming their continued support for such activities that contribute to improving the work environment and encouraging innovation.
