Egypt’s 2008 youth handball team finished their run at the Mediterranean Handball Championship in Slovakia on a high note by winning the bronze medal.
The team secured third place after defeating the host nation, Slovakia, in their final game.
This victory follows a series of strong performances throughout the tournament that showed the steady progress of these young players.
The team’s success was built on great teamwork and effort in every match.
By earning a spot on the podium, the players demonstrated their talent and discipline against tough international competition. This achievement highlights the hard work currently being put into Egyptian youth handball.
The tournament also recognized two Egyptian players for their individual skills. Zain Abdel Warith was named the best playmaker, and Youssef Amr was named the best right back.
These awards, along with the bronze medal, wrap up a successful trip for the squad as they look forward to future competitions.
