Seven extremely dangerous criminals were killed in an exchange of fire with police forces in El Menoufia governorate, north of Cairo.
On February 14, the criminals were involved in an armed robbery on a farm in the Nile Delta governorate of El Beheira. They then moved to El Menoufia where they were found hidden.
Of the total number of criminals, five had been sentenced to life in prison on charges of murder and armed robbery.
Seven automatic rifles, 20 magazines, and a cartridge gun were found in their possession.
All legal measures have been taken, and the Public Prosecution was notified to launch a probe into the incident.
