Minister of State for Military Production Salah Sulaiman Gombolat affirmed commitment to consolidating the capabilities of the ministry’s affiliated companies, and boosting their operational efficiency by developing their digital infrastructure through the use of artificial intelligence applications.

The minister made the remarks during an inspection tour of Tuya Technology, a company specialising in information systems, as part of regular follow-up of workflow, project implementation rates, and development plans across the ministry’s affiliated entities.

During the tour, the minister inspected various departments, including the Data Centre and Call Centre. He also reviewed the progress of projects being carried out by Tuya Technology in co-operation with other ministries and state bodies, through tenders or direct assignment.

In addition, Gombolat reviewed several digital systems, including internal and external communication platforms, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, and supplier and tender documentation systems.

The minister stressed the importance of the continuous development of these platforms to ensure efficient performance and rapid information flow. He stressed the need to secure communications and data, strengthen cybersecurity frameworks, and utilise artificial intelligence in network protection.

Tuya Technology has obtained a cybersecurity certification from the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA), reflecting its commitment to the highest standards of digital security, he said

The minister also reviewed a prototype of an electronic system for managing summer training programmes for students across various specialisations. He called for assessing the outcomes of training programmes and their real impact on the labour market, as well as ensuring optimal use of working hours and training resources.
