CAIRO — Egypt national football team put in a strong performance to beat Saudi Arabia national team 4-0 in an international friendly on Friday night at Alinma Stadium in Jeddah.

Both teams are preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, but Egypt started faster and took control from the first whistle.
With Hossam Hassan on the touchline, Egypt dominated the game throughout.

Goals from Islam Issa, Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, Ahmed Sayed Zizo, and Omar Marmoush – in the 4th, 16th, 44th, and 56th minutes – wrapped up a comfortable win for the Pharaohs.
Egypt’s players walked away with a big shot of confidence. The coaching staff also took the opportunity to rotate players and try new tactics ahead of upcoming competitive fixtures.

Next up, Egypt will face Spain national football team in Barcelona on March 31, in what should be a tough test as they continue their World Cup preparations.
