Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Abdelaziz Konsowa convened a meeting on Tuesday to discuss means to boost the competencies of nursing graduates and improve the efficiency of nursing staff across university hospitals.
The discussions focused on advancing the skills of nursing graduates from Egyptian universities, alongside boosting the performance of nursing personnel within university healthcare facilities.
Konsowa underscored the pivotal role of nursing staff within the university hospital system, emphasising that developing this sector is a key pillar of the ministry’s broader strategy to elevate the quality of healthcare services.
He further reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to upgrading healthcare standards in university hospitals, in line with the state’s ongoing efforts to strengthen and modernise public health services.
