27 container ships, cargo vessels handled at Damietta port

DAMIETTA, Egypt – As many as 27 container ships and cargo vessels were handled at Damietta Port in the past 24 hours.

In a statement released Friday, the Damietta Port Authority said the total trade volume of exported goods from the port reached 15,310 tons.

Meanwhile, the total trade volume of imported goods into the port recorded 43,221 tons, according to the statement.

Wheat reserves at private sector warehouses registered 131,111 tons.
