President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held two phone calls on Monday with Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain. The discussions focused on regional security and Egypt’s firm support for Gulf states in facing current challenges.
Presidential Spokesman Mohamed El-Shenawy said President Sisi expressed Egypt’s full solidarity with Kuwait, Bahrain, and all Gulf countries. He stressed that Gulf security is an integral part of Egypt’s national security. He assured that Egypt will not hesitate to provide all forms of support to preserve stability in the region. The President highlighted Egypt’s ongoing intensive efforts at both international and regional levels to stop escalation and restore peace.
The Emir of Kuwait praised Egypt’s consistent position in supporting Gulf security and valued President Sisi commitment to coordination and consultation between the two countries. He emphasized that this cooperation serves Arab interests and helps prevent the spread of conflicts.
In his call with King Hamad, President Sisi strongly condemned Iranian attacks on Bahrain. He reiterated Egypt’s readiness to provide full support to safeguard Bahrain’s security. He also commended Bahrain’s role in backing efforts to calm tensions and protect regional stability.
King Hamad expressed deep appreciation for Egypt’s stance and confirmed Bahrain’s keenness to coordinate closely with Egypt and Arab partners to avoid further escalation and end the war quickly.
