Acting on directives from President Abdel Fattah El‑Sisi, Foreign Minister Badr Abdel‑Aati left for Doha on Sunday, at the start of a Gulf tour.
The trip aims to coordinate with Arab partners on fast‑moving regional developments and to deliver a message of solidarity.
During the visit, Abdel‑Aati will hold high‑level meetings in Qatar, with focus on the military escalation in the region.
The stop in Doha reflects Egypt’s consistent support for Qatar and all Arab states. It also underscores Egypt’s full solidarity—leadership, government, and people—with its neighbors in facing security challenges.
Abdel-Aati will also emphasise joint efforts to reduce tensions and promote diplomacy as the path to safeguarding regional peace and stability.
