Minister of Civil Aviation Sameh El-Hefny said the ministry is working according to set timelines to complete ongoing development projects while maintaining the highest international safety and quality standards.
During a meeting at the Central Secretariat of the Future Nation Party, the minister added that all current projects are being implemented in line with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s directives and represent a qualitative step forward for the aviation sector.
El-Hefny praised the role of the Future Nation Party in creating effective connection channels with citizens.

For his part, MP Ahmed Abdel Gawad affirmed the Party’s support for the plans of the state in developing the aviation sector, asserting its importance as a main pillar for supporting the economy, revitalisation inboud tourism to Egypt.
The meeting included an extensive discussion on various ministry files and a review of its strategy for the coming period, particularly efforts to develop infrastructure, improve the efficiency of Egyptian airports, and increase their capacity to keep pace with targeted tourism growth.

The discussions also addressed the development of EgyptAir and the modernisation of its fleet to enhance the level of services provided to passengers. The seminar also touched on opportunities to offer some airports for partnership with the private sector to improve service quality and operational performance.
The meeting was attended by the party’s deputy leaders, members of its executive offices, members of relevant specialised committees and the central secretariat, in addition to a number of ministry officials.
