CAIRO – The Cabinet under Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli approved in its weekly meeting Thursday to increase the monthly allowance of medical interns.
The new monthly allowance will include junior doctors at the Faculty of Dentistry and those at the Faculty of Physical Education.
The decision also includes interns at the Higher Nursing Institute.
The Cabinet, meanwhile, approved to allocate about LE1.8 billion to finance the new raise for as many as 30,000 of doctors and nurses.
