CAIRO – The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has officially confirmed Al-Ahly as champions of last season’s Egyptian Premier League, securing the club’s 45th league title and dismissing Pyramids FC’s appeal.
After reviewing all submissions and evidence, the Lausanne-based court ruled that Al-Ahly’s victory fully followed the rules set by both local and international football authorities. The court also found that Pyramids FC’s appeal had no legal grounds to change the outcome or final standings.

Experts say the ruling sets a strong precedent. It shows how seriously CAS takes the rules and reminds everyone that, when it comes to sports disputes, CAS calls the shots.
In short, CAS rejected Pyramids FC’s appeal, upheld the Egyptian Football Association Appeals Committee’s decision, and confirmed that Al-Ahly’s three additional points stand – officially securing the club’s 45th league title.
