Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei on Monday denied reports claiming that Tehran had reached a temporary agreement with the United States regarding its nuclear programme.
“The reports about a temporary agreement with the United States are baseless,” Baghaei said in a statement, reaffirming that Iran continues to pursue the diplomatic track concerning its nuclear file.
He explained that the current phase involves drafting a proposed agreement with Washington, stressing that Tehran’s position on its nuclear program and the lifting of sanctions remains clear and consistent.
Baghaei added that Iran continues to co-operate with the International Atomic Energy Agency
