Over the course of the four-day tournament, Egypt amassed a staggering 43 medals, including 35 golds and 9 silvers, asserting their dominance across both sanda (sparring) and forms disciplines.

In the sanda disciplines, which test athletes in full-contact bouts demanding speed, strategy, and resilience, Egypt secured 7 golds and 3 silvers, outperforming regional rivals and demonstrating tactical mastery in the ring.

In the forms’ disciplines, emphasising precision, flow, and technical artistry, highlighted Egypt’s exceptional training programmes, with 28 golds and 6 silvers awarded to the team.

Egypt’s supremacy was reflected in the competition rankings. In sanda, Tunisia took second place, with Senegal securing third, while in forms, Tunisia and Morocco rounded out the podium.

These results set the stage for a clean sweep in the overall championship ranking, where Egypt claimed first place, followed by Tunisia as runner-up and Benin in third.

This triumph marks a significant milestone for Egyptian Wushu, reinforcing its position as a powerhouse in African martial arts and inspiring the next generation of athletes to pursue excellence in the sport.
