RABAT – Africa’s single-biggest event, the CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025, will enter its most exciting phase this week after four of Africa’s top Nations powered their way into the Semi-finals.

Both semi-finals will be played on Wednesday, January 14 as record seven-time African champions Egypt, 2013 champions Nigeria, 2021 winners Senegal and Hosts, Morocco have all confirmed their place.

Egypt sealed the final semi-final ticket on Saturday night after edging defending champions Côte d’Ivoire 3-2 in a pulsating contest, bringing the Elephants’ reign to an end.

They will now face Senegal in Tangier on Wednesday (kick-off 18h00 local time / 17h00 GMT / 19h00 Cairo), who were the first side to advance to the last four following a composed 1-0 victory over Mali on Friday.

Morocco continues their quest for a first continental title in 50 years after overcoming Cameroon 2-0 in Rabat, maintaining their impressive momentum on home soil.

Completing the semi-final line-up are Nigeria, who delivered a clinical performance to defeat Algeria 2-0 in Marrakech, and set up a blockbuster clash with the hosts that will be played in Rabat (kick-off 21h00 local time / 20h00 GMT / 22h00 Cairo)
