EgyptAir has announced a significant expansion of its strategic partnership with Microsoft through a new comprehensive agreement. This collaboration is designed to harness the power of advanced digital technologies to reshape the future of air travel in Egypt.
By integrating cutting-edge solutions, the partnership aims to enhance operational efficiency, maximise system flexibility, and deliver an exceptional passenger experience that meets the demands of the modern traveller.

The agreement serves as a cornerstone of EgyptAir’s ongoing digital transformation journey, contributing directly to the modernisation of the air transport industry in Egypt.
The signing ceremony was attended by Chairman and Managing Director of EgyptAir Holding Company Pilot Ahmed Adel and Microsoft Regional General Manager for Emerging Markets in the Middle East and Africa Eng Mirna Aref.

The formal document was signed by Head of Information Technology at EgyptAir Yasser Omran and General Manager of Microsoft Egypt Mohamed Qassem.
Pilot Ahmed Adel affirmed that this agreement is a natural extension of the long-standing strategic alliance between the two organisations.

He noted that the partnership embodies a firm commitment to modernisation, with a specific focus on the practical application of artificial intelligence and advanced digital tools.
These initiatives are intended to optimize operational workflows and strengthen cybersecurity standards, while simultaneously empowering EgyptAir’s workforce with the necessary resources to ensure readiness for future industry shifts.
Building on this vision, Yasser Omran indicated that this co-operation reflects a shared goal of leveraging cloud technologies to enhance operational agility.
By utilising Microsoft’s digital ecosystem, EgyptAir intends to elevate its service standards and respond more dynamically to the evolving needs of its customers.
This shift toward a more resilient, data-driven infrastructure is expected to streamline internal processes and improve the reliability of the airline’s digital services.

Microsoft Egypt’s General Manager, Mohamed Qassem, expressed pride in the development of this collaboration, highlighting the synergy between Microsoft’s global cloud expertise and EgyptAir’s deep-rooted experience in the aviation sector.
