Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council Abdel Fattah el-Burhan and his Deputy Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo arrived in in El Fasher, Darfur Wednesday heading a high-level Sudanese delegation to take part in the meetings of the Joint High Military Committee for Security Arrangements (JHMCSA).
All parties to the Juba Peace Agreement (JPA) are to participate in the meeting that will also take up the latest developments in Darfur, along with operation of special security forces in charge of achieving peace and security in the the western Sudanese region.
The JHMCSA supervises, monitors, and verifies the implementation of the Juba, agreement including the assembly sites for the combatants of the groups that signed the JPA and the Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration (DDR) programs.
