Dubai – EgyptAir Ground Services, a subsidiary of the state-owned holding company, announced the signing of a new ground handling contract with Sky Horizon, a prominent Egyptian aviation agency.
The signing took place on the sidelines of the Dubai Airshow 2025.
This strategic contract aims to significantly enhance ground handling services, ensuring their delivery aligns with the highest international standards in the aviation sector.
The signing ceremony was a notable event, attended by Captain Ahmed Adel, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EgyptAir Holding Company.

The agreement was formally executed by Khaled Atwa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EgyptAir Ground Services, and Ali El-Telawy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sky Horizon.
Khaled Atwa emphasized the significance of this deal, stating it reinforces EgyptAir Ground Services’ commanding position as the largest ground handling service provider in the Arab Republic of Egypt, holding a 75% market share.
He noted that the contract is a key component of the company’s strategy to expand its service portfolio and elevate performance quality to meet client expectations.
Ali El-Telawy expressed strong satisfaction with the collaboration, conveying his absolute confidence in the efficiency of EgyptAir Ground Services and its capability to provide the distinguished services required to meet evolving market demands.

EgyptAir Ground Services is recognized as a leader in providing comprehensive ground handling services across Egypt, which include essential operations like baggage handling, passenger services, load unit maintenance, and other vital services crucial for the efficient and safe turnaround of flights.
