In collaboration with Misr El Kheir Foundation and under the slogan “Life’s Good”, LG Egypt announced the launch of a new community initiative aimed at facilitating the marriage of people with disabilities from underprivileged families in the governorates of Minya and Assiut, helping them begin their married lives with dignity and stability. This initiative is LG Egypt’s first of its kind supporting the marriage of people with disabilities and comes as part of the company’s continued commitment to social responsibility. The initiative promotes inclusion, equality, and a dignified life for all members of society. It specifically supports young couples by providing essential household appliances that enable them to start their lives with comfort and independence. In its first phase, LG Egypt provided several home appliances—such as washing machines, and televisions—to help couples establish their homes. All the donated products are equipped with the latest energy-saving and high-efficiency technologies to ensure a sustainable and cost-effective experience for the new families. This initiative falls under Misr El Kheir Foundation’s “Marriage Support” program, which aims to economically and socially empower young people with disabilities by easing the burdens that may prevent them from starting a stable married life. Through this collaboration, both LG Egypt and Misr El Kheir reaffirm their joint mission of supporting the most vulnerable segments of society and promoting full social inclusion and justice. Mohamed El Gedawy, Marketing and PR Manager at LG Egypt, stated: “At LG, we believe that our slogan ‘Life’s Good’ can only be truly realized when everyone has equal opportunities. We’re proud that this initiative specifically targets people with disabilities—it reflects our genuine commitment to building a more inclusive and humane society, where young people can begin their journey with dignity and independence.” On the other hand, Eng. Ahmed Youssef, Senior Director of the Direct Aid Program at Misr El Kheir Foundation, commented: “We value our ongoing partnership with LG, and this initiative marks another step toward supporting and empowering people with disabilities across Egypt. Helping them establish a stable married life strengthens their dignity and social integration, which is a key goal we continuously strive for at Misr El Kheir.” LG Egypt confirmed that this initiative in Minya and Assiut marks the beginning of a series of future programs aimed at empowering people with disabilities across multiple governorates. The goal is to contribute to sustainable development and strengthen the values of social solidarity. Through these continuous efforts, both LG Egypt and Misr El Kheir reaffirm their dedication to spreading hope and working together toward a more inclusive and humane society—believing that “Life’s Good” when everyone has the opportunity to build a better and more stable future.
