Romanian President Nicușor Dan welcomed the in-depth discussions he held with President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Wednesday in Brussels, saying Romania supports the European Union’s goal of deepening its political and economic partnership with Egypt.
In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, Dan expressed his country’s appreciation for Egypt’s important role in promoting peace and stability in the region, stressing that Romania remains committed to working closely with Cairo to implement US President Donald Trump’s Middle East peace plan.
