He also commended President Trump for his unwavering commitment and tireless diplomatic efforts that were instrumental in securing the ceasefire agreement.

He expressed Egypt’s deep appreciation for President Trump’s leadership in advancing peace in the region, describing the outcome as a historic milestone that reflects genuine international responsibility and resolve.

In response, President Trump expressed his great satisfaction with what he termed a landmark achievement, emphasising his appreciation for the strong partnership and personal friendship he shares with President Sisi. He noted that all eyes had been on Egypt in recent days as the Sharm el-Sheikh negotiations unfolded, culminating in the announcement of the ceasefire.

President Sisi acknowledged that the agreement marks a pivotal moment in the pursuit of regional stability.

In this context, he stated that President Trump’s role merits international recognition and affirmed that he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize, Presidency Spokesman Ambassador Mohamed el-Shennawy said.

He added that President Sisi underscored the necessity of continued coordination to ensure the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement across all its phases.

He also emphasised the vital role of the United States and President Trump’s continued sponsorship in supporting this process.

As a gesture of appreciation and in recognition of the shared efforts, President Sisi extended a formal invitation to President Trump to attend a forthcoming celebration in Egypt marking the successful conclusion of the Gaza ceasefire.

President Trump welcomed the invitation and expressed his pleasure to visit Egypt, especially since it is a country he holds in great esteem.
