Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan el Khatib asserted the ministry’s commitment to supporting Egyptian exporters across all sectors.

This comes within the framework of the ministry’s strategy aimed at boosting Egyptian exports, achieving trade balance with international partners and opening new markets for Egyptian products.

The minister’s remarks came upon receiving a report from the Egyptian General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences on the implementation status of the external exhibitions plan for the period from July to October 2025.

This marks the first application of the new regulations governing Egypt’s participation in international exhibitions.

Khatib emphasized that international exhibitions are a vital tool for Egyptian companies and exporters to showcase and market their products abroad.

He affirmed the ministry’s ongoing support for Egyptian exports through a broad range of executive measures, some of which have already been implemented, with others still underway.

According to the report, Egypt has participated in ten collective national pavilions at international exhibitions during this period in various countries, including Algeria, China, Turkey, Russia, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and Germany.

These pavilions featured more than 215 companies representing key export sectors such as agricultural products, food industries, building materials, chemicals, as well as engineering and medical industries in addition to 185 companies applied to participate individually in foreign exhibitions.
