Gen. Saqr attends military intelligence exercise
The Defence and Military Production Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Maguid Saqr, witnessed the main phase of the Military Intelligence Authority’s Specialised Strategic Command Post Exercise.
The exercise is part of the Armed Forces’ combat training plan for its formations and departments and in line with the objective of reviewing operational plans in light of prevailing and emerging challenges.
Major General Sherif Fikry, Head of the Military Intelligence Authority, underlined in his address the General Command’s determination to equip the authority with advanced resources and cutting-edge technologies. He stressed that these capabilities enable continuous monitoring, enhance preparedness, and guarantee immediate action to counter any hostile attempts or security challenges with the highest efficiency.
The Commander-in-Chief engaged with participating commanders, praising their professional performance and reaffirming that the Egyptian soldier has consistently proven his ability to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty and defend its borders with determination and skill.
Also attending part of the exercise, Chief-of-Staff Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa reviewed operational phases and discussed implementation methods with officers and commanders.
The exercise reflects the Armed Forces’ ongoing commitment to modernising its capabilities, sharpening the efficiency of its personnel across all specialisations, and maintaining a high state of readiness to protect Egypt’s national security against evolving regional and global challenges.
