EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering has successfully passed the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) audit for the 20th year in a row, following a rigorous and comprehensive inspection of its facilities and operations.
The milestone was hailed by Captain Ahmed Adel, Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company, who attributed the achievement to the high technical standards and professionalism of the company’s maintenance personnel. He described the continued certification as a global recognition of EgyptAir Maintenance’s strict compliance with international aviation safety and maintenance regulations.
Eng. Ibrahim Fathy, Chairman and CEO of EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering, said the inspection success is a testament to the company’s ongoing commitment to the safety of both EgyptAir’s fleet and those of its international clients.
“This marks our 20th consecutive successful EASA inspection, a clear reflection of our dedication to the highest global standards in aviation maintenance,” he said. Fathy added that the accomplishment enhances client confidence and strengthens EgyptAir’s position in the international maintenance market.
The EASA audit team praised the technical proficiency and cooperation demonstrated by the company’s staff throughout the inspection. Inspectors also commended the employees’ deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and their precise execution of duties.
The audit included assessments of quality assurance, maintenance safety, aircraft hangars, the engine overhaul complex, technical stores and spare parts facilities, as well as workshops handling mechanical and electrical unit repairs.
The success reaffirms EgyptAir Maintenance’s reputation as a trusted provider of aviation engineering services in line with stringent European standards.
