DOHA – Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani discussed with Vice President of Palestine Hussein Al Sheikh ways of enhancing cooperation.
The two sides discussed the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest, Qatar News agency reported on Sunday.
The Qatari prime minister emphasized his country’s unwavering support of the Palestinian cause and the steadfastness of the Palestinian people, based on international legitimacy resolutions and the two-state solution, which calls for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
