Egypt’s Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation Rania el Mashat hailed bilateral relations with Kuwait as ideal for deep and strong relations in the Middle East region.
Mashat pointed out to historical, deep and strong ties with Kuwait.
Mashat’s remarks were made at a meeting with Kuwaiti Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment Noura Suleiman Al-Fassam on the sidelines of joint annual meetings of Arab financial authorities, which were held in Kuwait on Saturday.
Mashat said the meeting discussed joint work fields between Egypt and Kuwait, with an emphasis on the fields of planning, economic development and international cooperation.
It offered an opportunity for probing ways of boosting bilateral relations and issues of mutual concern, she added.
She underscored the importance of the Joint Egyptian-Kuwaiti Committee to achieve further coordination and cooperation.
The committee saw the signing of an executive program for a scientific and technical cooperation agreement between both the Egyptian and Kuwaiti governments, according to her.
