Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk on Thursday said the coming period will witness the launch of successive packages addressing tax challenges with a more flexible practical vision.
He added that these packages will be based on simplifying procedures and establishing the foundations of tax certainty for taxpayers, enabling them to plan their projects well.
The minister made the remarks during field tours of tax centers and directorates to follow up on the implementation of the first package of tax facilitation and efforts to remove any obstacles or challenges that may face it.
During the tour, Kouchouk directed employees of the Egyptian Tax Authority Centers and tax offices to offer facilitation for the funders and foster direct communication with them, within the framework of the mutual trust and as a form of providing support.
He hailed the readiness of the Egyptian Tax Authority Centers and tax offices employees to support the new packages by providing proposals and innovative solutions in this regard.
