EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering has successfully renewed the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) certification for its key maintenance stations in Jeddah and Madinah, reinforcing the company’s commitment to international safety and quality standards.

Ahmed Adel, chairman of EgyptAir Holding, congratulated the maintenance team on this achievement, describing it as a testament to their dedication and professionalism. He emphasised that maintaining the EASA accreditation underscores the company’s adherence to the highest safety and service standards while strengthening customer confidence in its capabilities.

Ibrahim Fathy, chairman of EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering, highlighted the strategic importance of retaining such international certifications, particularly at major external hubs like Jeddah and Madinah, which handle a high volume of maintenance operations for EgyptAir and other airlines. He stressed that sustaining the company’s strong reputation in aircraft maintenance requires continuous service enhancements and strict compliance with global safety and quality benchmarks.

During the inspection process, EASA auditors conducted a comprehensive review of the stations’ technical operations, assessed staff competencies, and examined maintenance procedures. They praised the high level of technical quality maintained at both stations, noting that EgyptAir Maintenance and Engineering has upheld this certification for over two decades without any concerns.

Fathy described the renewal as a recognition of the company’s consistent performance, saying: “Successfully passing EASA inspections year after year places us among the world’s leading aircraft maintenance providers. This milestone drives us to further develop our services, invest in our workforce, and adopt cutting-edge technologies in aircraft maintenance and overhaul.”
