CAIRO – Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli said it is important to activate the mechanism of the National Dialogue regarding various issues and challenges that the state is facing.

Madbouli said at the session of the Board of Trustees of the National Dialogue: “We fully appreciate the mechanism of the National Dialogue, thanks to the important role played by this important mechanism with the various segments of the Egyptian society that you represent.”

During the meeting, members of the Board of Trustees of the National Dialogue thanked the Prime Minister for his interest in the mechanism and outcomes, noting that many meetings were held with members of the Board of Trustees.

“The National Dialogue includes 65 parties, and there is no one that does not have a representative in the National Dialogue, and thus the National Dialogue represents various spectrums of the Egyptian society,” Madbouli added.

As many as 256 recommendations were issued by the National Dialogue after 110 sessions attended by thousands of participants with the aim of presenting different visions on political, economic and social files.

Present at the National Dialogue were Maya Morsi, the Minister of Social Solidarity, Mahmoud Fawzy, the Minister of Political and Legal Affairs and Political Communication and Head of the Technical Secretariat of the National Dialogue, and Ali El-Din Hilal, the Rapporteur of the Board of Trustees of the National Dialogue.
