The Egyptian Zakat and Charity House (EZCH), supervised by Grand Sheikh of Al-Azhar Ahmed el-Tayeb, revealed yesterday the arrival of a 10th relief convoy in Gaza, part of the “Help Gaza” campaign through the Rafah border crossing.
The convoy, under the slogan “Strive with Your Money, and Support Palestine,” is prepared to distribute relief aid in Gaza as displaced Palestinians return to the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
The convoy comprises 305 giant trucks carrying 4,200 tonnes of aid and is the largest sent by the Zakat and Charity House since the Israeli aggression on Gaza in October 2023. The aid includes medical supplies, food, milk, water, tents, quilts, winter clothing, and 11 ambulances.
The Zakat and Charity House praised global participation in this mission, with institutions and delegations from 85 countries involved.It also expressed appreciation for the Egyptian state’s efforts in delivering aid to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.
The Zakat and Charity House has sent around 1,050 trucks carrying 16,500 tonnes of relief aid to Gaza.
